說母語的人,尤其是商務(wù)人士,打電話的時(shí)候說話語速都很快。下面是一些實(shí)用的小貼士可以讓母語是英語的人放慢說話的速度。
1、Immediately ask the person to speak slowly。
直接請(qǐng)這個(gè)人慢點(diǎn)說。
請(qǐng)對(duì)方說慢點(diǎn)的英語說法:
報(bào)關(guān)員1) Would you speak more slowly? 你能再說慢一點(diǎn)嗎?
2)Could you speak up a little? 你能再大聲一點(diǎn)嗎?
3)Would you speak more clearly? 你能再說清楚一點(diǎn)嗎?
4)Would you explain more for me? 可以為我解釋一遍嗎?
5)Please speak a little louder. 請(qǐng)講大聲一點(diǎn)。
6)Would you slow down, please?清說慢一點(diǎn)好嗎?
2、When taking note of a name or important information, repeat each piece of information as the person speaks。
記錄一個(gè)名字或者重要信息的時(shí)候,打電話的人說一句你就重復(fù)一句。
3、This is an especially effective tool.By repeating each important piece of information or each number orletter as the spell or give you a telephone number you automatically slow the speaker down。
這是一個(gè)很有效的策略。通過重復(fù)每一個(gè)重要的信息、每一個(gè)數(shù)字、每一個(gè)字母的時(shí)候都會(huì)讓說話人的語速自動(dòng)放慢。
4、Do not say you have understood if you have not. ask the person to repeat until you have understood。
如果沒聽懂就別說你懂了。讓這個(gè)人重復(fù)一下直到你懂了。
5、Remember that the other person needsto make himself/herself understood and it is in his/her interest tomake sure that you have understood. If you ask a person to explain more than twice they will usually slow down。
記住別人需要自己的話被聽懂。確保你能聽懂關(guān)系到他或她的利益。如果你請(qǐng)一個(gè)人解釋兩次以上,通常這個(gè)人會(huì)放慢語速。
6、If the person does not slow down begin speaking your own language!

7、A sentence or two of another language spoken quickly will remind the person that they are fortunate because they do not need to speak a different language to communicate. Usedcarefully, this exercise in humbling the other speaker can be very effective. Just be sure to use it with colleagues and not with a boss!

3. Sorry, I didn't get what you said. 對(duì)不起,我沒聽懂你說的話。
4. I can't hear you very well. 我聽不太清楚。
5. I can barely hear you. 我?guī)缀趼牪坏侥阏f的。
6. I'm having trouble hearing you. 我聽不清楚。
7. We have a bad connection. 通訊效果不太好。
8. I can't catch what you are saying. 我聽不太清楚你說的話。
也可用下面簡單提醒法:
1. Pardon?請(qǐng)?jiān)僬f一遍好嗎?
2. Excuse me? 請(qǐng)?jiān)僬f一遍?
上列兩句都是對(duì)不起之意,但用在會(huì)話上,如果后面沒有接說明,并且語尾上揚(yáng),就是要對(duì)方再說一次。聽到這句話時(shí)就要知道對(duì)方要自己再說一遍。
3. I beg you pardon? 能請(qǐng)你再說一遍嗎?(此句有請(qǐng)求對(duì)方原諒及再說一次的意思)
4. Could you repeat that, please? 能請(qǐng)你再說一遍嗎?
5. Would you say that again? 你能再說一遍嗎?
